The 160 sq. meters (16000 sq feet) veranda around the house is fully enclosed by glass-work , to protect the house from adverse weather conditions. (not for any other use.)
The construction is weather tight and reasonably rain tight. Windows and doors may be left open under any weather conditions.
The glass panels are for the larger part retractable. (see plan above), and can be moved to the open position.
The veranda has a full unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape and Mount Parnitha in the distance.
The cellar includes a boiler room for the central heating and hot water taps, a large sunlit workspace, a medium and a small size tool storage room and the Garage.
